Time Saving Michigan Takeout Tip And Steakhouse Sirloin Salad

Which this past week, that helpful hand came courtesy of Brann’s Steakhouse. A local Michigan favorite, this family friendly restaurant has rolled out a new Brann’s online ordering system. And with their newest smartphone app, you can now easily place or even pre-schedule your next order on desktop and mobile.

So when I found myself on a day filled with deadlines, technical issues, and craving protein? I downloaded the new app and scheduled a pick-up order for later that afternoon. True to their word, it was fast and easy. And I was quite happy with all the graphics and app features. Especially the built in Tip Calculator. Even better? I entered the word “SOCIAL” as my last name to qualify for special $5 off $25 coupon my next order.

Personally, I love Brann’s Steakhouse for lunch. Great deals aside, it’s wonderful to support a business that showcases it’s values and support for Michigan. With 10 locations throughout the state, Brann’s offers a menu for every age. But what made them famous is a tasty 6oz sirloin steak. I opted for just such a protein boost, with their Steakhouse Salad. However I did skip the croutons.

Instead, I included a Brann’s Snack of Crispy Kale. Fresh cut and flash fried, the kale is tossed with lemon juice and sea salt. And is it ever wonderful when tossed in with the mixed greens of my salad. So I got to snack all the way home, and then toss this green filler in for my main plate.

Another great tip? Order an extra side of sirloin for $5. This will grant you an additional 6oz of protein for a bargain rate. And when adding the Kale, can easily take this one salad to two plates.

Something else I like to get is a cup of the White Chicken Chili. Thick and hearty, this spicy bowl of goodness isn’t going to disappoint. It will come with crackers, but Brann’s will also be including fresh baked rolls.

Which brings to me yet another Brann’s Steakhouse staple. The ever popular cinnamon butter. To which I made sure to order extra of. Because…butter ya’ll.
