Share The Summer With Coca~Cola!

Summer is upon us. This past weekend we celebrated with our first picnic. We all relished soaking up the food, fun, and sunshine. And if you’re like me, there is one thing makes an outdoor outing more memorable. That ice chest of cold canned refreshments.

You know what I’m talking about right? I don’t care whether its a graduation party, family reunion, or our own personal summer soiree. One of the best parts of any summer get-together is dipping my hands into a cooler of icy water and bobbing Coca-Cola cans.

As such, I have long gone the routes of jazzing up this summer staple with fancy coolers and special ice. So I loved finding out that this summer, Coca-Cola cans have even more personalized nicknames to share! And did you know that their stocked in 32-pack bulk cases at Sam’s Club?

We also made sure to pick up a few other pantry staples for our picnic. Like this ginormous bucket of puffed cheese balls. Seriously, a chilled can of Diet Coke and cheese balls? Remind me to share people. {LOL}

But really, sharing is caring after all! And now as the summer season begins, I’ll be making all sorts of plans to bring coolers of Coca-Cola to. For instance, once a year all my extended family gathers together. I grew up in a huge family. And its so nice to have reasons to see each other that don’t include funerals or weddings.

Another easy picnic favorites are fresh strawberries. My favorite berry, I’m all about the strawberry shortcake and homemade buttermilk biscuits. Or in this case, an easy finger food to pair with a deli sandwich. Which is also a staple at summer birthday parties I’ll also be planning!

Because easy finger foods are all the better to keep your hands clear for sharing that chilled and refreshing can of Coke with a friend. I mean come on. Just seeing all those beads of water dripping off this red jeweled beauty is enough to make me thirsty!
