Have you seen them lately? All you need to do is put in the keywords “30-day photo challenge” and you’ll find a host of great ideas to photograph for daily life inspirations. And not only will you have topics that you can choose from, but added themes as well. The options truly are endless in how you can share your thoughts, dreams, favorites, or simply – just yourself.
Recently, I’ve wondered why so many of you stop by but so very few of you comment, interact, or simply share to say a silent hello. I feel like tapping the monitor to see if its really working. But then it dawned on me that while I share so many materialistic things that we interact with in our lives, I don’t really share who I am. So then, why would you share the who, what, and why that you are?
I thought it a fair question and I’m ripe for a challenge to see if my hypothesis proves true or not. So over the next 30 days I will begin to clear up the looking glass more. Honestly, I don’t have much to hide – I guess I just don’t fancy myself that interesting. So to help myself along, I picked my favorite month to do this…my birthday month!
Birthdays really do make everything more fun, don’t they? So I’m celebrating the challenge and we can discover this new view of “me” together. My birthday is the 29th of this month and that gives me 30 great days to reflect, refine, and recall a host of great things to begin sharing with you.
Day 1 ==> Favorite Food. Fresh baked sugar sprinkled cake donuts.
I’m talking carb+sugar=LOVE. Just yesterday my Dad surprised me with a whole dozen of these sugar encrusted beauties. He knew I was buckling down on my diet to get healthier over the next few months. A favorite of his too, he must have known I needed one last taste-bud hurrah. Paired with a Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce Latte, and I’m telling you, I’ve found a piece of heaven. ❤
